The soft lid is designed to grab the line from your hand and keep it in the container. The lid is made to fit any sized hand large or small. The lid snaps down into the container on all four sides, the attchments go through both the lid and container for a very strong hold. The container will hold well over a thousand yards of used fishing line. The container also has eight hook slots to easily keep used hooks out of the container, boat, and waterways.

The most common types of fishing line causing environmental longevity problems are; monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braided line. These strong, thin, and nearly invisible fishing lines pose extreme dangers to not only our wildlife but to humans and their equipment as well. Birds, mammals, fish, and reptiles are unable to see these lines and get entangled and can cause other serious injuries. Improperly discarded monofilament, fluorocarbon, or braided lines can also foul boat propellers, bilge pumps, and water intake valves.
